Luana Torres is a Solicitor & Notary Public and is the founder of Torres Lawyers in Sydney. Luana graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney with degrees in Law and Commerce in 2002 and was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales later that year. Luana has extensive experience advising and assisting clients in different areas of law including; criminal & traffic
; civil litigation; commercial; property; divorce applications and wills & estates. She acts for individuals, small/medium businesses, and consulates, and appears in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of NSW and other states, as well as in a number of tribunals. Luana is the first female Brazilian to be admitted to legal practice in Australia. Being Brazilian-born, she is fluent in Portuguese, and is also proficient in Spanish. Luana is an Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Law in Sydney, and is also a Commonwealth-registered Civil Marriage Celebrant.
