Raked ceiling, exposed timber beams, open fireplace, and a split-level layout. This room has serious character — the edit just made it visible.

The before was washed out and flat, the ceiling was blown to white, the timber beams disappeared into the overexposure, and the walls lost all definition. A room this size with this much architectural detail deserved better.

The after recovers everything. The raked ceiling is clean white with the timber beam reading warm and structural, the fireplace sits as the centerpiece it was designed to be, the timber joinery throughout the room has depth and richness, and the split-level dining area in the background is fully visible. The whole room finally reads as the generous, characterful space it is.

Homes with real history need edits that respect it.

A galley kitchen with real length — and now you can see the whole thing.

The before had harsh sunlight cutting across the stone tile floor and blowing out the right side of the frame, creating a strong imbalance that made the room feel split rather than cohesive. The slate toned upper cabinets, and white lowers were competing with the exposure rather than working together.

The after evens the whole room out. Whites are consistent from the fridge end to the sink, the slate upper cabinets read cleanly, the stone floor tiles show their full character without the harsh light patches, and the window now shows blue sky rather than a white blowout.

A well-proportioned kitchen, finally showing its full length.

Mint lower cabinets, white uppers, black hardware, a tree outside the window. This kitchen has a point of view — and the edit sharpened it.

The before was slightly warm and uneven the window was pulling too bright, the mint cabinetry was losing its cool tone, and the timber shelves were blending into the background rather than standing out as the feature detail they are.

The after corrects the balance across the whole frame. The window now shows full green canopy without blowing out, the mint reads true and fresh against the white uppers, the timber shelves pop with warmth, the black hardware is crisp, and the whole kitchen feels considered and cohesive.

Good design photographed well. That's the combination that sells.

Bold brick, clean lines, a red front door. Now the photo does its justice.

The before had flat, dry landscaping on the right side dragging the eye away from the house, the shrubs were brown and lifeless, making the whole frontage feel neglected despite the property being well maintained and modern.

The after brings the garden to life. The flowering shrubs on the right read with colour and fullness, the lawn strip is green, the brick facade is warm and sharp against the blue sky, and the red door pops as the accent it was designed to be.

A well-built home deserves a frontage that matches. The edit made sure it did.

The house was finished. The yard wasn't. The edit fixed that.

The before showed a brand-new build sitting on bare dirt and patchy weeds harsh tree shadows cutting across the ground and making the whole frontage look unfinished and uninviting. The house itself is clean, modern, and well-designed. The surroundings were letting it down completely.

The after replaces the bare dirt with a lush green lawn, removes the harsh shadow patches, and lets the property stand on its own merit. White render, brick base, timber deck steps, black-framed windows a confident modern home on a property that finally matches it.

Lawn replacement is one of the most impactful exterior edits we do for new builds and properties shot before landscaping is complete.

Sage green island, white stone benchtop, black frames, timber floors. The edit just got out of the way.

The before had a warm beige cast sitting over everything the walls read as cream, the ceiling felt low, and the sage cabinetry was losing its cool tone against the overall warmth of the image.

The after neutralizes it cleanly. Walls are true white, the vaulted ceiling opens up, the sage island reads exactly as it was chosen cool, calm, and deliberate. The black window frames pop, the greenery outside is lush, and the timber floors anchor the whole room with warmth without competing with the palette above.

When the design is this considered, the edit just needs to be accurate.

The lights were already on. The edit made the sky match.

The before was shot at dusk with the exterior lights glowing warmly but the sky hadn't turned and the overcast white overhead killed the mood the lights were trying to create.

The after completes the scene. Deep blue and violet dusk sky, the warm wall lights pop against the render, the timber gable glows, the flagstone path has depth and texture, the lawn is lush and green, and the whole property feels like the kind of home you want to come back to at the end of the day.

When the exterior lights are on, the sky needs to match. That's what dusk conversion does.

A dining room with personality — and an edit that finally lets it show.

The before was dark and uneven, the recessed lighting created warm pools that left the rest of the room in shadow. The floral wallpaper, the bouclé dining chairs, the black display cabinet, the pool visible through the open doors, all of it was there but fighting against the exposure.

The after lifts and balances the whole room. The ceiling reads clean white, the wallpaper blooms in full teal and blush, the bouclé chairs have texture and warmth, the cabinet detail is visible, and through the open bifold doors the dusk pool scene glows blue in the background. Inside and outside working together in one frame.

Styled rooms deserve edits that match the effort that went into them.

Day to dusk. Same property. Different price bracket.

The before was shot at dusk but the sky hadn't fully turned flat grey overhead, the interior lights on but competing with ambient daylight, the pool lit but not glowing. All the ingredients were there. The timing just wasn't quite right.

The after converts it to a full dusk scene. Deep blue and purple sky, interior warmth spilling through the black-framed windows, the pergola lights creating atmosphere, the stone wall textured and dramatic, and the pool glowing aqua in the foreground. The whole property shifts from a nice house to a lifestyle that someone will pay serious money to own.

Day-to-dusk conversion is one of the highest-impact edits we do. This is exactly why.

A country home with serious street appeal — and now the photo finally proves it

The before had a flat white sky draining all the energy from a genuinely beautiful property. The weatherboard facade, the wrap around verandah, the teal front door, the stone feature, the steppingstone path all of it was there, just sitting under a lifeless sky that made the whole scene feel cold and still.

The after brings it to life. Blue sky with clouds framing the bare winter tree, the lawn reads green and lush, the timber verandah steps glow warm, and the house sits confidently in the frame like the home it is.

This is the hero shot that makes someone pull over and take a second look.
