The Australian Prime Minister's evasion of responsibility to protect women's rights, or to support an amendment to the S*x Discrimination Act, is disgraceful.
Anthony Albanese knows what a women is, but dismisses women's s*x-based rights as a "culture war."
The S*x Discrimination Act, by erasing women's s*x based rights, is illegal under international human rights law; including the Convention on the Elimination of Discriminatiin Against Women (CEDAW) and the International Convenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).
This makes the SDA unconstitutional.
A High Court may well rule this way, but a woman like Sall Grover should not have to go to such lengths to get justice.
All Australian parties must support women's s*x- based rights now, and support the amending of the S*x Discrimination Act.
The same applies New Zealand MP Jenny Marcroft's efforts to clarify NZ law so that there is no doubt about biological s*x in law in New Zealand.

Women and girls have s*x-based rights for a reason.
Under international human rights frameworks like the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), countries are expected to protect the rights, safety, dignity, and equality of women and girls.
Many women, including le****ns and same-s*x attracted women, are increasingly concerned that s*x-based protections are being weakened or ignored in areas such as sport, language, spaces, data collection, safeguarding, and public policy.
UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls, Reem Alsalem, has repeatedly raised concerns internationally about the impact that certain gender identity policies may have on women’s rights, female-only spaces, and protections based on biological s*x.
Facts matter:
• CEDAW is a United Nations treaty focused specifically on eliminating discrimination against women.
• Australia is a signatory to both CEDAW and the ICCPR.
• Le***an s*xual orientation is based on same-s*x attraction, meaning biological s*x remains relevant in law and language.
• Many countries worldwide are now debating how to balance transgender inclusion with s*x-based rights and protections for women and girls.
• Concerns about women’s rights are not “hate” — they are legitimate human rights discussions.
Women should not be silenced for defending s*x-based rights.
Le***ans should not be erased.
Open debate should not be shut down through intimidation or cancellation.
A democratic society must be able to discuss these issues respectfully, openly, and honestly
