📢 Update: Important Changes for Partner Visa Applicants

We have great news about new rules to help partner visa applicants facing family violence. Here are the key updates:

🔹 More Access: Current and some former Prospective Marriage (Subclass 300) visa holders can now apply for a Partner (Subclass 820/801) visa without having to marry their sponsor.
🔹 Flexibility: Applicants no longer need to be in Australia when their Partner (Subclass 309) visa decision is made.
🔹 Inclusive Language: Family violence terms have been updated to be more inclusive and modern.
🔹 Simplified Process: The rules for different partner visas are now easier and more aligned.

These changes aim to offer better protection and support, so visa applicants don’t have to stay in abusive relationships to keep their visa.
