I spent the afternoon with the team at Durack Fire Station and discovered what it really takes to answer the call—from suiting up in 20kg of gear to seeing the incredible teamwork behind every emergency response.

My road trip through Stanthorpe, Goondiwindi and the Chinchilla Rodeo proved that a wheelchair doesn’t have to limit your adventures. With a little planning and flexibility, rural Queensland has so much to offer. 🤠🐴🐄
