Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court - Universität Wien

The Investment Arbitration Moot Court team of the Universität Wien successfully participated in this year's virtually held Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court and advanced from the General Rounds to the Round of 16.
The team congratulates all other participating teams for their great performances, especially the winning team of the Singapore Management University, against which the team pleaded in the general rounds, it was a pleasure! However, we are deeply saddened by the ongoing war in Ukraine, regret that our Ukrainian colleagues were prevented from participating, and hope that they are safe.

Although the Moot Court was held again in an online setting due to the Covid pandemic, the team members Anastasiya Georgieva Ljubica Mitić, Tijana Teodosic, and Đorđe Todorović had an amazing experience and developed their presentation and lawyering skills.

The University of Vienna is looking forward to participating in the Moot Court next year, which can hopefully be held again in Frankfurt.

After months of preparation for the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court (FIAMC), the virtual setting allowed the team of the University of Vienna to participate in the Moscow Pre-Moot and the Milan Pre-Moot in the past weeks. This weekend, the team made it to the final round in the Kyiv Pre-Moot and has narrowly won against the strong team from the Goethe University Frankfurt. The team thanks Nick Yurlov for the great organization of the Kyiv Pre-Moot, all arbitrators, and congratulates all teams! The team is confidently looking forward to the FIAMC and wishes all participating teams the best of luck!

In the last week before the Moot Court Competition, we will introduce our team members, Ljubica Mitić, Đorđe Todorović, Tijana Teodosic, and Anastasiya Georgieva, and give them the floor to share their experience and how their passion for , , and has evolved.
