Dear All,
We continually face challenges - how we view them defines us! Do we choose to see the challenges as stepping-stones or as obstacles. If we choose to see them as obstacles, then the challenges we face will be viewed as problems - problems that need to be overcome along with all the negative connotations associated with problems. A great deal of wasted energy can be spent focusing on a negative mindset - mindsets like "I can't", "I won't", "I don't want to" and "I shouldn't have too". We,however, choose to see challenges as stepping-stones - opportunities that we have encountered along the way for us to use, to "step on" so that we can achieve more, develop further and ultimately actualize more of our goals! Young people in the world of today are growing up with ideals, expectations, ambitions and talents which are unprecedented, driven by new technology, affluence and globalisation. In todays world we are very well aware of global issues. For us to succeed, we need to invest in young people’s skills and capabilities to act as powerful advocates and agents of change to help society meet these challenges.This is what we do at RYMUN 11. We here at Roots not only dream but also aim to accomplish our dreams successfully. We with our belief, culture and our way of living and destiny of our nation is our hands. We can change and build a better future for ourselves and we want you to join hands with us and stand soulder to shoulder with us in painting a better picture of tomorrow.
