1️⃣ What inspired you to start your business?

It started with the "nightmare" of relocating. As an Industrial Engineer, I saw the massive friction for anyone trying to find a place to belong in a new city-the endless paperwork, the lack of transparency, and the disconnected way we manage our new homes away from home. I founded iBoard Living to apply systems thinking to that chaos and move beyond just providing a roof.

We created an ecosystem where you can Live- Learn (for students, they live a new life while learning) and Live-Work (for professionals they live a new community while working), while ensuring both groups can Live Local by connecting deeply with the community around them. I wanted to build a bridge where housing isn't just a transaction, but a human-centric system that helps transition migrants thrive in their journey of independence.

2️⃣ What is the biggest challenge women founders face today?

I’d say it’s the "perception tax." As a decision-maker in PropTech and real estate, I’ve noticed we are frequently grilled on risk and sustainability, while our male counterparts are more often asked about vision and scale. Navigating that funding gap is a constant exercise in resilience. It’s not just about getting the capital; it’s about demanding the same level of institutional trust in our ambition that is so often given by default to others.

3️⃣ What brand innovations do you do online?

Our online approach is about purpose-driven living rather than just a transaction. Most sites are just a sea of listings, but we use our digital space to show the "why" behind the home. We focus on building trust by being transparent with our data and showing how we support the people in our spaces. By prioritizing the human experience and sustainability, we show how living local actually strengthens the community's economy.

We've turned iBoard Living into a support system for tenants and a reliable partner for landlords who want to do things the right way.
